Artist Statement
My work centers on moments when experience fails to arrive clearly.
I am interested in how emotions, bodily sensations, memory, and even death are not perceived all at once, but reach us in delayed, distorted, or uneven forms.
Rather than depicting events directly, I focus on what remains after them—traces, residues, and surfaces where meaning has not yet settled. Across drawing, painting, and sculptural forms, I explore how perception shifts depending on distance, language, and the position of the viewer. My work does not aim to resolve these moments, but to hold them open, allowing viewers to encounter the instability of how things are seen, felt, and spoken about.
